28 Fights, 26 Victories!! Overall Team Champions!!

Gracie-Barra Marbella, led by professor Edson “Sururu” Jorge, went to Valencia, Spain to compete in the Valencia Grappling tournament on Saturday, May 20, 2006. The team performed unbelievably well, bringing home the overall team competition.

The Gracie-Barra BH team traveled this weekend to have some fun in Granada, and participate in a totally different sport — wrestling. Ben Johnson, Mike Rios and professor Edson Jorge competed. Edson made it to the championship round, where he lost to the competition favorite (not bad for a guy recovering from a broken hand!)

When the organizers of the Portugal Vale Tudo event heard that Edson Jorge now resides in Spain, he was the first on their list to replace the injured opponent of the tough Olavo Belo.
